Information you provide
Galy may receive information you choose to submit while using the app, including text prompts, generation instructions, editing choices, project settings, feedback, and support messages. If you select media for a video project, the selected images, video clips, audio, voice recordings, captions, or other files may be processed to provide the requested feature.
AI generation and project information
To create or edit a video, Galy may process prompts, selected assets, style or template choices, aspect ratio, duration, resolution, and other generation settings. Depending on the feature, temporary project data, render status, previews, exported files, and error details may also be handled so the generation workflow can complete and problems can be diagnosed.
Device and technical information
The Android device or platform may provide limited technical information such as device model, Android version, language, app version, network condition, approximate timestamps, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and identifiers. These details help Galy operate, troubleshoot failed generations, improve stability, and protect the service.
When information is collected
Information may be received when you install or open Galy, start or edit a project, select or upload media, submit a prompt, request a generation, preview or export a result, contact support, or report an issue. Some operational events may be produced automatically while the app communicates with services used to process and deliver a video.
How information is used
We use information to provide Galy's AI video generation and editing features, process prompts and media, create previews and exports, maintain project state where supported, answer support requests, investigate technical failures, improve app performance and generation workflows, protect the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Uploaded media and generated videos
Media you select and videos generated through Galy are handled for the functions you request, such as generation, editing, preview, temporary processing, or export. You should select only material you are entitled to use. Depending on how a feature works, files may be transmitted to processing infrastructure and retained temporarily to finish a request, provide an export, or resolve an error.
Permissions
Galy may request access to photos, videos, files or storage, camera, microphone, notifications, and network connectivity when a selected feature requires it. Media access can support importing source material or saving an export; camera or microphone access may support capture features if offered. Network access is needed for online functions and cloud processing. You can manage Android permissions in device settings, but denying access may disable the related feature.
Processors and Google Play
We may use service providers for cloud hosting or AI processing, file storage and delivery, crash diagnostics, analytics, security, or support. They should receive only information needed for their assigned role and should handle it under applicable service terms. Google Play and Android may separately process information related to app installation, updates, billing, device compatibility, and platform security under Google's own terms and privacy notices.
Sharing and legal disclosures
We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect users or our rights, investigate fraud or misuse, address a security incident, or support a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of relevant assets.
Retention and deletion
Prompts, selected media, project information, generated videos, and technical records are retained for the period needed to provide the requested features, complete processing, troubleshoot issues, protect the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our policies. Temporary processing files may be removed after a generation is complete or after a reasonable period. You may contact us to request deletion of information associated with your use, subject to verification and applicable legal or operational limits.
International processing
Galy and its service providers may process prompts, media, project data, generated videos, or technical records in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, reasonable contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards are used for such processing.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse of information. No internet transmission, Android application, AI processing service, or storage system can guarantee complete security. Keep your own copies of source media and exported videos that matter to you.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. You may also decline permissions or stop using a feature, although importing media, recording, online generation, preview, or export functions may then be unavailable. Requests may require identity verification, and legal exceptions can apply.
Your permission and consent
When you choose to submit a prompt or select source media, you direct Galy to process that material to perform the video task you requested. Device permissions are requested separately when a feature needs them, and you can change those permissions through Android settings. Where local law requires consent for a particular activity, we will rely on the applicable choice or permission; withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Children
Galy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age group. If we learn that a child has submitted personal information or media, we will take reasonable steps to remove it where appropriate.
Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when Galy's video features, processing practices, service providers, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update indicates that you have reviewed the revised notice.
